I just came across this insanely cool Mondrian sideboard by Boca Do Lobo and I have to admit, I am slightly obsessed! This piece is so chic and truly takes eclectic to a whole new level! Read the full article on the 3Rings blog here.

Oh, and it comes in white too! So hot!
Check out the full BL collection here. I'm seriously drooling. This furniture is so beautiful.

Luxurious Luminaries
Last month when I was trolling through the Elle Decor archives I pulled a bunch of gorgeous chandeliers for my inspiration files. Here are a few of the more interesting ones.

The lively, coral chandelier and wall sconce add the finishing touches to this beautiful, blue room.

This twiggy light fixture adds a sense of whimsy in this texture filled room.

Why not wire? I just want to sit and sip lemonade on a spring afternoon in this space!

If I had this room, I'd make sure I had a nice stableboy to go along with it.

This dining room is to die for! It's a perfect blend of styles and the chandelier is the icing on the cake.

Lusting for Turquoise
I realized today while talking to a friend that it has been almost a week since I have posted anything! My how time can fly when you are having fun. I spent some time this weekend working on my photographer friend's boudoir bedroom. I was doing some research on damask patters (so chic right now by the way) and I think I fell in lust!
Turquoise and Damask...could there really be a sweeter design treat?

Hot Hospitality
Part of what I do at my 9-5 is book travel; lots and lots of travel. I came across the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills the other day and when I went back to take a closer look, realized that it's part of the Viceroy Hotel Group. Now, I have drooled over the Viceroy Santa Monica and Palm Springs in magazines for years and after spending a few minutes browsing the websites today, decided to share a few of hotels' gorgeous spaces.

Now all I need is to stay at one of the amazing locations!

Delicious Designs
Even though we are only renting our new house, I still find myself daydreaming about what our yard could be! I recently came across this article from Sunset Magazine featuring some awe inspiring patios.
See more beautiful patios here.

I love the designer look of this patio. The use of minimal plants, accented with warm, vibrant colors and textures makes the space feel luxurious and inviting.

The monochromatic use of plants in this quaint little space is really well executed and the various shades and tones of green and blue keep your eye bouncing around the yard.

The simplicity of this drought tolerant garden reminds me of home in northern CA. It looks like a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine and a good friend.

Does this one really need an explanation? I think not. Love the letters!

Talk about a true extension of the home. I would love to be invited to a party here.

The contrast of smooth and soft in this patio makes me want to play hopscotch! I love the puzzle-like effect this look creates and it's a great way to reduce water usage.

This patio feels like San Diego. The sailcloth brings movement to the space and colors are so classically desert.
